Depending on the procedure(s), a session could take up to 2.5 to 3.5 hours, as we spend time to ensure you are satisfied with the shape and design of your new enhancement prior to beginning the shading process. There is no rush! It is important to us that you are completely comfortable and satisfied with your treatment.
The short answer is likely no. Your sensitivity level can depend on a variety of things, such as medications, menstrual cycles, and pre-existing skin conditions. A topical anesthetic will be used before and throughout the procedure. For most clients, the pain level is minimal and comparable to a quick wax. It is not unlikely for you to doze off. For our sensitive ladies, we always have the industry’s most effective anesthetic on hand for extra numbing if needed.
You keep doing you, girl! Because the technique is gentle on your skin, there are no swollen brows or lips here. Any redness/swelling goes away in a few hours. Over the next 10-14 days your enhancement will lightly flake to soft, natural perfection! However, during the healing stage, your fresh enhancement needs to be kept clean, dry, and out of direct sunlight.

⁂ For Brows: Ombre Powder Brows last from 2 to 3 years or more depending on skin type, lifestyle, and attention to aftercare, and will eventually fade to a lighter version of the original tattoo color.
⁂ For Lips: You can enjoy your new lips at least 3 to 5 years after you’ve received your touch up. The fact is – no matter what color you choose – even bright, or bold ones, will heal natural or nude. Unlike eyebrows, lip blush fades 50-70% when healed. We always recommend to go a little brighter than you want. Rest assured though, any color we pick will blend in with your natural lip tone!
We recommend an annual touch-up to maintain the color of your ombre powder brows/lip blush.
Increasing exposure to sunlight without sunscreen can speed fading. We suggest using sunblock while in the sun, and be mindful of what exfoliation chemicals you use on your face. We highly recommend to not apply any skincare products that contain glycolic, lactic, salicylic, alpha hydroxy aka AHA, beta hydroxy aka BHA or exfoliants, etc. directly on your brows but at least 1cm away.

We highly recommend it. Just like any other permanent makeup treatments, the best results generally come from a two-step process. For almost all of our clients, one touch-up session finalizes the procedure. A touch-up session perfects your brows/lips by going over spots that did not accept enough pigment, layering the color for more saturation, and adding in areas that may have healed incorrectly. To ensure the perfect outcome please book your touch-up appointment 6—8 weeks after your initial appointment.
✘ Do not work out the day of the treatment
✘ Do not tan two weeks prior to the treatment or get any sunburns on your face
✘ Do not take fish oil or Vitamin E 48 hours prior to the treatment (they are natural blood thinners)
✘ Avoid picking, tweezing, waxing, threading, tinting your eyebrows for 3 days prior to the treatment
✘ Avoid the following services for 3 weeks prior to the treatment: fillers, Botox, chemical peels, and laser treatments
✓ If you have dry, or flaky lips please begin exfoliating nightly with a lip scrub (mixture of sugar, honey, lemon) followed by a lip treatment (Vaseline) to hydrate your lips
In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor color deposit:
✘ Do not drink alcohol 24 – 48 hours prior to the treatment
✘ Do not consume caffeine or coffee 24 – 48 hours prior to the treatment
✘ Do not take Aspirin or Ibuprofen for pain relief (these are also blood thinner) 24 – 48 hours prior to the treatment
